Question:

Can I create a hull model with Part Maker?

Answer:

Usually, SE is used to create the hull model. Then a PM run file is
used to add the tanks and appendages which complete the model. Camber
is easy to add with PM. However, you can create the hull model using
PM with LOCUS statements if you prefer.

The advantages of using SE are:
  1) You can digitize the offsets from a body plan.
  2) You can check immediately on the screen for errors.

Note: The version of PM which comes with BHS does not allow making hulls and
appendages; so SE is the only option for BHS users.
