Creative Systems is planning to move into a new office building
in the summer of 2010 and thereafter expand its staff. The
location will remain in Port Townsend, Washington, which is
about two hours northwest of Seattle and considered
to be one of the most desireable places to live with its
nearby mountains and salt-water beaches. For a boater it's
ideal: marinas, boatyards and a location between Puget Sound
and the San Juan Islands. For the hiker/camper the nearby
Olympic Mountains and Olympic National Park offer year-round
variety from wild ocean beaches to alpine meadows to glaciered mountain peaks.
For the aviator, it has one of the nation's finest small airports
with dozens of destinations within an hour's flight. Weather
is tempered by the nearby water masses. Being on the leeward
side of the mountains, average rainfall is less than 20 inches
per year, making it much drier -- and often sunnier -- than Seattle.
