DB PutCraneCase and GetCraneCase
(Requires GHS version 17.00 or later) |

(Use the command DB Update to get the latest version
of the Data Base software.)
Case is a convenient Data-Base mechanism for storing and retrieving various kinds of weights. Cases of tanks and cases dealing with fixed weights are common. Another type of case applies to crane parameters. For example, DB PutCraneCase "Lift 1" stores the current crane position and hook load under the case name "Lift 1". But first we use DB SetCrane to define the angles and magnitude of the hook load: |

| Now suppose we want to make a case using the jib hook instead of the main hook. SetCrane allows that too: |

Now DB PutCraneCase "Lift 2" stores it as a new case.
As with the other Get...Case commands, you get a listing of all cases when the case identification is omitted. In this simple example DB GetCraneCase results in this: |
