DISPLAY STATUS /3D
(Requires GHS version 18.5 or later with CG) |
| New in version 18.5, surfaced 3D views are now built into the Condition Graphics module. Users with CG and a current Maintainance & Support subscription will automatically receive access. You can invoke the feature using the new /3D parameter on the DISPLAY command. The view also respects /SYNC and any TYPE SET command parsing, so you can more easily visualize cranes as you modify their orientation: |

When we told John Bonn about the new DISPLAY STATUS /3D feature he wasn't happy because the boat was orange--and he hates orange. Well, John, you aren't required to use it. Classic DISPLAY STATUS views will always be available.
John did cheer up a little when we told him that the release version of DISPLAY STATUS /3D is exactly that: a release version. Additional features are already in development, and we invite you to let us know what you'd like to see. The run file which created the scene above is available here. |
