DECKEDGE

DECKEDGE is a Part Maker command that is useful for marking the deck edge location
over the whole hull or a range of sections.
DECKEDGE (name) loc1, loc2 The parameter in parenthesis names the component within the geometry model on which a deck edge is to be defined. Typically this would be (HULL\HULL.C). Since the precise location of the deck edge has an effect on the outcome of certain stability calculations, it appears for verification as a line in SE/DISPLAY, best seen in the rotated view: |
