DISPLAY (part)

When checking geometry models, the DISPLAY command makes it a bit too easy to tap the spacebar repeatedly, stepping through the parts until you come to the one you are particularly interested in.

A quicker way to view a particular part is to ask for it up front when giving the DISPLAY command:


First the profile/plan view comes up:

Then hit the tab key to go to the axonometric view:

When working on a complex part like this engine room, the rendered view may be helpful. Press V for the VISUALIZE command:

If you have no use for the computer's rendered view because you automatically render in your mind, perhaps you have left the real world. It happens when you spend too much time with GHS.
